help me please with eton 50
#1
my e-ton lightning has been sitting for quite awhile. about a month or so went by and i decided to crank it again just to keep it running, but i got nothing. the horn no worky, the starter no worky... so i decided 'my batterys crap.' today, about 6 months later, i decided to finally put up the 30 to get a bat for it. i installed it and charged it, even checked the battery to see if it had charge. but the engines electrical still has nada. i'm at a loss and giving up hope on ever getting it back running so that i might sell it. please help me! you are my last hope, cause the Lord knows i ain't takin it anywhere.
thanks for anything you have,

I would just take a simple test light and start at the battery and work your way along to the ignition and through the wiring to find where the problem is.It may be something as simple as a loose connection somewhere or a blown fuse. Will the bike start if you use the kickstart?

don't have a kick... never came with the lightning. there's a small bronze little box that all the wires go into when they first come from the battery... would you know what that might be? my instruction manual is worthless. preciate your help.
oh, and i know the battery is charged because i did the light bulb test... but i will try it going along the wires as you said.

power from the battery goes to the ignition switch first. Make sure the ignition switch wiring connection is not corroded or loose. To find it, just follow the wiring down about 6" from under the bottom of the ignition switch
