What about the 70? Thing is my daughter is 6, rather tall for her age but I'm cautious of sitting her on the 90. Although looking at the 70 vs 90 the only differences I've found to be is that its 20cc's larger and has larger tires about an 1" or so....

My son is only 6 and was only 5 1/2 last year when we first got it and he handles it no problem but every kid is different.I would think if your daughter can handle the 70 she can probably handle the 90.I have heard the 05 models have cdi boxes that are adjustable to control the power until she is ready for it.Its nice to have the extra power when trail riding to get through mud or up small hills or whatever, you might not necessarily need the extra speed but the extra power is nice. The bigger tires will give you a little more ground clearance as well.

For many of us on this forum, our kids ride on private property or "ATV allowed" trails. If you plan on purchasing a mini for your "young rider" and only do "ATV allowed" trails, you may want to check the engine cc age to kid age policy - for that specific place.
oldyeller is right on. Regardless of the age of kid, always focus on "body fit" first. Body fit and ease of control should be the primary focus. On both 70 & 90, you can use their throttle control screw (and/or CDI) to slow them down. If you have a big kid, the 90 might be worth having a 3rd look.

I have never owned an Eton. But there are alot of them in the circuit that my son races in. They seem to be a great bike. There are way more Etons there than any other bike. So they must be pretty good. They seem to be very powerful. Plus the suspension seems to do a great job. Now for which size to get that is up to the size of the child and their ability to handle the machine. I don't think you will go wrong with the Eton. But if they can handle the 70 then I wouldn't see why they couldn't handle the 90. Children grow so fast they will grow out of the 70 real soon.
