When our Pred-90 isn't unavailable "for structure & performance upgrades", we often do the 20 mile trail rides. Sometimes we start at 9:00 AM and drive until 12:00, stop of lunch, then make our way back. My 9 year old is 120 lbs (130 with his complete gear on) and we drive his until through sand pits, up hills, gravel, dirt paths, etc. etc. The main reason we went for the Pred-90 was because of its deep suspension. During our trail rides, we had to pull a TRX-70 back twice and a TRX-90 back once. Yes, even good old Hondas can only take so much beating on our many trails. I'm sure the E-Ton, Kasea and other 2 stroke minis can endure the same beatings with no problems as well. Note: For rapid change of ground speed, sand the at times needing the extra bottom zip, try to stay with a 2 strokes. CVT / auto transmissions also reduce rider fatique on long trail rides.
From my experience, my son's physical and mental fatigue starts to be noticeable around 1.5 - 2 hour mark. Luckily, we bring lots of snacks, take lots of rest breaks and spend lots of time chatting about "father / son" stuff at our many rest stops. Once, we went for a medium quad run and took our fishing poles. Best catch & release memory I've had with my son. If your son also loves beating his unit down the trail, ensure he takes lots of rest stops too...
Hope this helps...

We live on the east coast and let me tell you right now....We have no deserts here. Just some hard ****, rocky trails and the predator can take alot more than 20 hours of a good beating. Spike can attest to how well they hold up on a tough wilderness loggin type trails.
This quad has treated us well and will hold up...no doubt.

Eton Kasea Artic Cat Polaris KFX LT....HELP???
My 6 yr old daughter has been riding her AC90 for about 4 months now. We ride almost every weekend, 15+ miles over rock riverbeds. The only problem has been bending the chain guard on the rocks. It is the 4 stroke. The CVT is great, no missing gears and she has one less thing to worry about. I still have not taken the cluch or carb restrictors out. But even with those in and the with the throttle limiter set to the lowest, the bike will pull my 180lb butt up an rocky hill i've tried.
I do have two complaints. The front brakes are two cable drums, and are hard for my daughter to pull. And second is that it is red stickered and not green. I've not ridden the 2 stoke.. but since both are red stickered, I probably should have gotten the 2 stroke for the extra power. But so far my daughter hasn't needed it.
Hope this helps.

Eton Kasea Artic Cat Polaris KFX LT....HELP???
I really appreciate all the comments you guys have posted.
I talked to a dealer today that sells Arctic Cat, Polaris, Kasea, and Suzuki. He Told me that Arctic Cat, Polaris, & Kasea and I think Eton or Xterme, frames, motors swing arms, A arms, and axles. Basically a rolling chassis with the motor, tranny minus the tires plastic & seat. Are all manufactured by a company called FMC. If this is the case then I thank it is really cool having all these different makes supporting the same chassis and motor.
I know some of you said that they come from the same manufacture. And it is down right tuff when you get so may different versions of the truth. But I'm trying to do my homework before making this purchase. We are getting low on cash and want to make the best long term investment.
I figure "if" Kasea is the same as Polaris & Arctic Cat. Then I'll save my self about $800 and get a Kasea. I'm just very Leary of small companies and having a hard time getting parts, or falling a part. I have a ATK 605 and some times parts can take up to 6 months to get!!!! And dealers are like restaurant help, here today gone tomorrow.
Does anyone have any info supporting these models coming out of FMC or the same manufacture?
Does anyone have info about FMC building ATV parts?

Parts are not an issue. You can get just about anything you need from this and other forums. I know the Kasea is made by SMC they also sell they LRX which is a clone of the Kasea in different plastic. The thing that is great about the Kasea is it has the foot brake. That is the only difference I know of....and I am in no way an expert. I personally like the suspension of the predator the best. Suzuki is a tough *** quad and quick out the box, but Suzuki needs to step up their game and get it up to par with the so called "OFF BRANDS" because the public is going for these bikes.
I am sure your kid will love which ever one you choose. Take the lil'1 for a trip and let him/her sit on a few.
Goodluck

Eton Kasea Artic Cat Polaris KFX LT....HELP???
Hello Again.
I ordered a Kasea 90 from a Dealer Friend of 14 years. I'm getting it for $1850 out the door with an after market chain upgrade. I figured I'm saving about $1000 over getting the Arctic Cat or the LT80.
I will be putting the chain tensioner, and cooling snorkel on it from the Predator and probably larger rear tires and sprocket.
I will post the outcome and performance after I get.
