i have an 03 lt 80 w/ ported motor clutch work done pipe and 20m carb. anyways my daughter was in the sand and the bike would barely start and then would not idle at all. finally it would not start at all, si i took it apart and she had sucked a reed so i replaced it and put it all back together and it still wouldn't start so i tore off the top end thinking maybe the reed tok out a ring, well the piston and rings are good to go no damage at all. i was getting really good spark before i tore her apart, so any other things i should check out befor i put it back together would be great.

 

Explain "sucked a reed" please.

 

Sounds like it has no compression. Or at least not enough to start.
