have you checked back with Hot seat about wanting more? What pipe are you running??
We did some minor mods and got alot more speed out of the 90. WRH reeds, removed the oil injector and Jumper clip removed. You should have alot more than you would need with what you have so far, unless of course you need more for racing..

tonnerre,

Welcome to this forum. We don't see "1" posting very often. You are looking for more power out of your 90. Is that "bottom end" power or high end speed? Sometimes, people use the word "power" to describe either situation. Billy Holt can definately help you get the "MAX" out of your Pred 90. He helped me gain more "bottom end" power for our deep mud trails. We are very pleased with his advise and his performance parts.

If you are looking for more "bottom end" power and don't care about loosing some stop end speed, a simple smaller front sprocket or bigger back sprocket will do the trick. If you are looking for more bottom end power with same or more top end speed, then give Billy a call. Depending upon your unique riding conditions and wants, there's all sorts of upgrades that can be done. For education reading, surf: - Press Here - Some of this info does apply to the 2 stroke minis.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for your answer.I'm french people and excuse me for my bad english.I have Hot seat pipe and CDi.
I removed the oil injector.May be I don't understand very well but you said if I want power at small rpm or if I want max speed.I make races and I need power everywhere.Power for the start (torque) and power for the speed (hp).
After pipe (ithink i will chane because it broke 3 times), CDI , what can I change???
Which is the difference between stock CDI and Hot seat CDI ? What is the max rpm ?

you still have a rev limit on the stock cdi even after clipping the wire. i would start with a new cdi and high compression head from billy at wrh. does the hot seat pipe have a expansion chamber or is it like stock with just a pipe and silencer. the predators are finicky when it comes to clutch mods. a little help would be a narrower belt off a scrambler 90. also remove the rubber donuts that are under the clutch shoes.

take the pulley and clutch assembly apart and remove the 3 clutch springs. the shoes will swing outward and under each shoe is a small rubber donut, looks like a small o-ring. remove them and put the assembly back together.

Default Help me for my Predator

I have an 03 Pred 90 and we flat track race and trail ride in W. KY. i have done the following: WRH race pipe, Hentricks air box (the "Z")with Uni air filter and jet kit(110 main jet-35 pilot), .020 over sized piston, trail port and polish, .015" or 0.38mm planed off the cylinder head, Boyesean dual stage reeds, blocked off the oil injector and run 44:1 fuel/oil mixture using Klotz super tech, remove three of the variators(in clutch), we also have a smaller rear sproket that we sometime use. it runs great on the trails, hills etc. I would suggest use Hetricks or WRH for hop up parts for the smaller quads because they really understand how to get the power out of them versus some of the companies that usually only deal with "adult" quads. hope this helps.

its not a good idea to take rollers out of a predator. it works on the lt80 but can cause damage to the predator. better idea is to go to lighter rollers and use all 6.
