I have a chance to purchase a left over 04 Alpha Sport 90cc Colt quad.
It is a really good price.
Can anyone tell me if they are any good.
Or am I wasting my money.
I was told by 2 different dealers that they are the polaris engine/drive train.
We have a 04 Polaris Predator 90cc now, the kids love it
Does anyone have one, if so, how do you like it.
Any advice/help would be great.
This bike would be for my daughter, no racing/mainly trails.

Both motors are made by aeon. The body is the only differnce that I am aware of. I say for the price difference go with the Alpha sport.

 

We got a Sportsman 90cc here, and we love it. (i'm only sayin this because our quads are almost the same) Now, about that deal, I don't know about buying it. If you are a good mechanic, you can make it shine, but, if you aren't, don't buy it. Either way, i'd say no, even for the good price.

 

THEY ARE THE SAME...Plastics are the only difference.

 

actually the alpha sport is more comparable to the polaris scrambler 90 not the predator. they have a shorter swing arm and a-arms than the predator. there is nothing wrong with them and can be modded like any of the 2 stroke minis. go fo it
