which 50 to buy????????????????????
you're going to get all kinds of advice on this one. lotsa folks telling ya to get an 80 or 90 cc and just restrict it 'till she's ready, etc... I think these kids quads have enough re-sale that if you as the parent decide you want to start her on a 50, then you'll get close to your $$ back on re-sale, or same $$ you paid on buying and re-selling a used one in a year or two. Many will relay stories of what their rising star kids have done and how great they can ride, yada, yada. But this is your daughter and you know her better than anyone. I think the size and weight of the 80-90CC units can intimidate them a little. If she's 8 or older, then the 90 would be worth considering ( depends on her size and weight too).
I love yamaha, but apparently their 50cc is a huge disappointment. seems great with shaft drive, electric start, 4-stroke, but gutless and barely faster than an electric toy, and nothing you can do to increase power. Polaris, suzuki, eton are all well reviewed by their owners. Kasea and Etons are supposed to be pretty good. the chinese stuff is really starting to get some recognition..... dare I say respect..., and considering how inexpensive it is, don't rule it out. with global economy being what it is, a lot more of everything (or a lot of the parts) is made in china and sold under big brand names. you pay for a name in a lot of cases.

which 50 to buy????????????????????
That is the problem I am having is that my daughter is to small to ride a 90 right now and feel that a 50 will be good for her for the next 2 years. I really don't know much about the 50 cc quads that are out there right now and am looking for feed back as far as what to look for and what to stay away from.

If a 90 is to big for her then I would look to the micro 50's. Names to feel comfortable with are Dinli, Kasea, and E-Ton. I would suggest for your first purchase to get a machine from a motorcycle dealer. They usually back up the sale with service. The Suzuki 50 is a good machine but higher priced than the before mentioned machines. Want ever you buy make provisions for a full face helmet, chest protector and boots. Make her wear them all the time. They take a minute to put on but can save a lifetime of regret. I would suggest Alpinestar boots. They are exspensive but there is no break-in and your girl will be comfortable in them compared to others.

which 50 to buy????????????????????
I have a 04 Raptor 50 and my little 4 year old and she loves it. The speed problem is no concern to her just for me when I get on it. It is a very dependable quad and a perfect beginner for any kid just to get used to the basics and have fun.
There are some good safety features I like. The kill cord in the back and the throttle screw.

on this forum (kids atvs) type kazuma 50 in the search box, or just kazuma. you should find lotsa feedback. In think they started out with a bad rep like most of the chinese stuff did, but then they improved and for $700 new, i think it's tough to beat.
