Default Tether kill switch

I posted this once but don't see it anywhere. I recently bought my son a 2003 50cc Polaris Scrambler. I want to somehow wire in a tether type kill switch at the rear of the bike like some of the new ones have. Is it possible to do this? It already has a tether switch at the front in the handlebar area. Should I just tie a rope to this tether and hope it doesn't come off or what?

Ok now I see my original post!!!

You could use a Pro Design brand kill switch mounted to the rear of the frame.

Take one wire from it and run it to ground, connect the other wire to the coil.

We use a Pro Design in place of the factory switch on the bars (the factory one started giving us problems).

Take a look at the personal watercraft market too. They make one that is easy to wire in and mount in the rear. I did this on my son's Raptor 80... worked like a champ.
