Default Timing on an lt80

I just installed a new stator on my sons lt80. I went with a Ricky Strator, cheaper than stock and said to be better. My question is if I were to advance the timing, which way would I rotate the the stator from TDS? CLockwise or counter clockwise. Has any one tried this? Does it make a difference? Or should I just put it where it is supposed to be? The bike has been modified, (port/polish, pipe, carb, etc...). Any advise would be appreciated, thanks.

You turn it clockwise to advance.
How much depends on your motor.
Usually 1/32~1/16 is enough

I'll challenge you to a race!
Course, I'll have to have you race my lil girl as I'm just a slow old fat man on my way to my 3rd top ten finish overall in the GNC 40+ class
LOL!!

The correct answer is still clockwise to advance

Thanks guys. I think Ill go with lt80's advise though, he seems to be the go to guy in this forum for all the technical lt80 stuff. As far as racing, Ill leave that to my son.
