Friend of ours has the Breeze and his daughter loves it. Sit down, turn the key, give it gas and go It does have decent power. Unfortunately, it doesn't prepare them for shifting. But, it teaches them how to handle a quad, ride safely and just gets them riding And 40 mph is plenty fast for kids in that age bracket I would guess, my kids max speed is about 25mph.

LOL, Now you sound like my 3 daughters "quit picking on me"

I think Confused is still headed to Oregon over Spring Break, I'm going to try and make it even if it's for a couple of days.

I suppose if we do all make it there at the same time then you guys would make me ride my daughters lt80 rather than my sons 80

From the mods on both, I don't think it would matter

It would just ask my daughter, we still haven't actually touched it yet. I bought the carb and pipe prior to coming to the forums, so I hadn't heard of jacks magic, so I am waiting on him to get back to me with a quote.

Confused, Again, I agree with you on your posts Did I just say I agreed with you I must take my temperature

My brother just bought a Suzuki 250. He says it's for his oldest boys (11 and 13)who have ridden my smaller quads once. He is to cheap to buy a smaller quad and have them learn the safe way. Anyways, when we went to Pismo last week, he scared the hell out of them on it. They've never operated a clutch before and the size was overwelming for them. His oldest didn't ride at all and his second son (11 years old) ended up riding our 160 after I put it in 2nd gear and told him to not shift at all. He rode it around camp and had a smile the whole time. I think parents tend to buy TOO big for their kids and ruin the fun that this sport is suppose to be.
sorry it took so long for me to reply..my wife said i fell to the ground and have been out since i read that rescue agreed with me twice. MD, that musta hurt more than a colonoscopy to say that !! well up here in Canada, it was more a case of Dad always buying our hockey skates 2 sizes too big so they'd last an extra year. "just wear extra wool socks till they fit right". seriously, that's a shame what your bro did. they don't come much more frugal than me, that's why I'm always shopping and flipping the used stuff. at least that way the kids are on a more comfy quad.
