I have just purchased a new quad which was advertised as "new 150cc quad bike with shaft drive and reverse gear." To be honest it was bought on price. The new quad has no markings on it apart from a sticker which says "atv150" The safety labels have "Venus Pacific Motor Company" on them. The quad is fine it apart from being a bit on the slow side. I am not convinced that it is a 150cc engine. The quad looks exactly the same as the Yamoto 110 expect that there are no name plates on the engine or anything else, it has the reverse gear and 3 forward gears the same as the Yamoto 110, even the looks are the same. The carb has the markings PZ19 which appears to be rated for engines in the range of 50cc to 110cc and not for a 150cc engine which this quad is supposed to be. Can any body throw any light on this? Before I go and be unpleasant to the mail order supplier, as I would like to be fully informed and not make a fool of myself.
