Default Eton help on a 50

My son has an eton impulse 1999 50 cc. I have the 70cc kit on it. I was wondering if the main jet should be changed. If so change it to what and where would I find one?
thanks in advance, Dennis

I have no idea chubbysdad, I would think the people who sold you the kit should know.

you should be able to read your plug to tell if you need to make any jetting changes. plug should be a root beer brown. if it is light tan or white you will need to go up on the main. check what size you have now and go up accordingly. with the 70cc kit it would be best to go to a 20mm carb. do you have a aftermarket pipe and clutch kit in it ? wrh racing sells the jets you will need. 251- 675-9906

the jetting is the same all the way through from 50cc to 90cc. Strange but true. Yes you can run the 50 carb on a 70 no problemo
