My son was way too big for the Eton 40 and perfect for the 50. Problem is that his hands are tiny and I notice when he is ripping it around good, his throttle hand is too low pushing the throttle and not hangingon. Can a twist throttle be installed on a kids quad? I was thinking that once he mastered it he would have better control. Thanks for any advice.

As another suggestion, try one of those thumb extender things. They are only a couple of dollars. Some like thumb control extenders and some hate them. If you rotate the throttle control and use a thumb extender, it would be much safer then a twist throttle. If that doesn't work or you need something better, then convert to pre-mix with a single throttle cable.
Hope this idea helps as well...
