Default KFX 50?

moochie, yes i have the stacked pilot, i tried removing the smaller, but it seems to run better with it in. left the needle alone so far, i got a cheap new cylinder for it so i'm gonna go and bore it, then start over with the carb work.

My son had a LT50 for three years. When he started racing last year I looked into performance parts for it and found this site Miniquadracing.com. Website says it will go 30mph with their mod's? I ended up selling the quad and buying a better racing 50 DRR

Hi fastnature, How old is the bike? my kids bike got to where it would barley take off. To make a long story short after checking everything I could think of and pulling the restrictors I found the exhaust port on the head was pluged up. After cleaning it up, it will carry my 240 lb up any hill I point it at.

I don't know the hp on the 50 but, you can easily remove the restrictors on the exhaust and the one in the carburator "manifold". I had to drill the one out of the "Manifold" but it was very simple and took only about 30 minutes. After doing that, the bikes speed increased from about 8-10 to around 15-18. Give it a try!

Another thing that really helps alot is going to a Premix of 32:1 with Castor 927...The auto inject system is a hindrance

I had removed both restrictors and removed the piggt back jet, moved the clip, plug auto inject, but still had a slight bog so I switched to the 927 and it really made a difference...it burns so clean and the plug never fouls

You would have to drain the carb and the tank before switching to the Castor 927

It really helped the KFX....and we all know it needs as much help as it can get

I am thinking of the CT Racing kit, but the suspension is stll non existent and it stills needs at least a clutch to really do something exciting...

I may just go with the custom E-Ton http://etonracing1.homestead.com/etonracing.html $3,600 for the stage 1 kit,

has anyone seen nerf bars for a KFX50??
