LT80 sandhill setup
Yeah me and my brother bought her the LT80, she loves to ride, we can't even get her off the four wheeler when we take breaks. The guys that helped you were my riding buddies Raptorlegs, they are pretty good guys! LT80 (Jack) you are the man, if your ever in Texas again and feel like riding some dunes give me a shout. Do you have a website, or do you just mainly stay on this board? DO you have any tips for the stiff suspension, especially the rear? We had a set of gliders for her LT50, but they were for a 7"wheel so I just bought some locally, I already have some gliders ordered. Thanks guys for the help, she will be much more happy, and so will my back. hahaha.
Thanks,
Kevin

Hey Onebad and Raptorlegs. I ride at Kermit all the time. My son has an lt80 and it will flat climb some hills. We have the Skat-trak gliders an FmF pipe, boyesen reeds, uni filter and a 87.5 main. We are gonna try to go out to the dunes on sunday. I'm getting my motor back on friday and am chomping at the bit to go. I haven't got to ride for about 2 months. I've probably seen you guys before. See ya.

Should be at Kermit on Sunday, give me a shout if you see me. I have will be pulling a black enclosed trailer with a Z71. I might take the 80 out if I can get it finished in time, but I just got my powder coating equipment and I have went crazy on the 80, wheels and hubs are being baked right now.

LT80 sandhill setup
Hello I'm new to this forum just purchased a lt80 for my daughter and have a coulpe of questions. What size gliders should I run the 18x8.5x8 or the 18x9.5x8, on basically a stock lt80. I plan on changing the reeds, punching holes in the air box, and changing the main jet to a smaller size for now. Later, adding a sprocket kit from Midwest Minis and maybe a few more ideas I get from you all.
Thanks,
Ron

I have both sizes on two different quads. Although both are very good, I tend to like the 18x8.5x8 more. It has a nice round profile while the other is very square. It could be they started using different casings for their tires, but not knowing that for sure I have to go with the smaller one. The 18x9.5x8 does protect the side of the rim better and that can be a plus on the wooded sand trails in Oregon, but may not help you anywhere else.

Ok guys I want to do the clutch mod thing on my son's 80-But. Do you have to have a puller to remove the front clutch? Or for that matter any special tools? Will the quad still be ridable in the dirt? Just a little higher stall to get used to? Can you get away with the front sprocket change without adding any links to the chain? Sorry about all the questions!! Thanks Al

I thinl the geckos are 1/3 your problem, 18x8.5-8s are the best for a stock bike, in fact they make a 5 paddle also. My other kid runs 18-9.5-8 6 paddle gliders, but his bike is got way more power than a stock bike.
Hey jack does anyone out there sale the rollers that already drilled out?
