Scrambler 90 Running rough
My sons 2001 90cc started running real rough. No power and jerky no matter what the throttle position is. It also acts like it wants to jerk forward during warmup
I cleaned the bowl and Jets
Checked the plug and it looks fine
I dont have any ideas and would sure appreciate the help
Thanks

To get at the CVT belt, you have to remove the left side panels off your mini. If you've never done this before, you could possibly download a Polaris Scram-90 Service Manual from:
- Press Here -
Note: You may have to login the Polaris site if you haven't been there before.
If they don't have your Scram-90 Service manual, try the Pred-90 Service manual. To validate your steps, you can also cross reference against the Kolpin Service manual. The Kopin & Polaris are very simular in that area. The Kolpin Service manual in PDF format can be obtained from: - Press Here -
Note: Kolpin tranny info is in Section 4.5 / Page 25. They have great pictures in their Service manual.
Good luck!!!

Had the same issue with a Sportsman 90.
Drain the tank completely
Buy a new fuel filter Make sure to put a loop in the fuel line when replacing on the carb.
Take a air line and blow out the fuel valve. I have had 4 or 5 of the 90s and every one has had junk in the gas tank. One had a power ranger and a army man in it.....
Hope you fix it.
Make sure the tank is clean........
