Default UPDATE! UNISON 90 NO SPARK!

Also when I test the coil on the 2 leads on the coil itself the needle goes all the way to the other side so I would assume that I have continutiy, but when I go from the coil to the plug boot the needle barley moves. Could that be my problem.

Thanks
Roman

If you take the plug out, hook it up to the plug wire, then ground the plug to the head, turn it over, does it have spark? When I mean ground it I mean just touch the end of the plug to the head and turn it over. You may have broken a wire or pulled it from the coil when you first checked the plug.

I just checked my compression and I have 120 pounds so I don't think that is my problem.

Default UPDATE! UNISON 90 NO SPARK!

Well I fixed it, it ended up being the tether kill switch the solder connection came off. I just pulled it off and spliced them together. I sure did learn alot from this.

I would like to take a moment to thank all that helped me and told me to keep going as I knew it was something simple. Without you guys this forum would be nothing.
Again thanks SO MUCH!!

Roman

.

I remember reading previous replies that you stated "I know it's something stupid - I just can't find it!!!!". Glad you found the problem, and learned a few electrical testing skills on your mini. Those newly learned skills will come in handy when doing other projects.

Glad you were able to get your young rider "back on the seat".

Excellent news for sure!!!! Thanks for keeping us informed of your progress....

Thats really cool that you found the problem and it was not major. I know the Unison atv are solid and just could not believe you had a problem already.

Had the same problem out of the box. Kill switch wire was loose. We got it solved in 1 hour. Other than that the bike is super fun and seems built really well. Glad you got it going. Have fun.

Default UPDATE! UNISON 90 NO SPARK!

Doing a search to help in troubleshooting a no-spark issue that I am having. Clicked on the links that Spike99 put on there, but they are no longer valid. Does anyone have updated links or the information saved that they could send to me?

Thanks,
Brian
