I appreciate your attention to this, and your honesty. And yes I am extremely unhappy. $900 is a lot of money for me and family, so to have an investment like this slap me in the face hurts. I purchased from a local dealer, who purchases them from RedCat motors in New Orleans, La. What do you think my chances of getting a refund or a new bike are? I don't necessarily want a refund, I want the bike that we payed for, not the one we ended up with.
Again, sorry for the anger.
Sincerely,
Mark

In reply to the original post. I highly recommend going through the harness and filling all connections with Dielectric grease. It takes awile, but these are unsealed bullet connectors. When they corode they can be trouble. I also disassembled and greased the switchgear on the handlebars. It gave the switches a much better feel.
We've had the quad since January and it's been nothing but great fun for the kids.
I posted a review in January if you want to read up on everything I did.
Later!

Hibrass,
Glad to hear someone actually read it, it took awhile to write. My 8 year old is almost to big for the 50, I'm considering a Kazuma 90 or 110 within the next year. If I buy one, I'll post on that one too.

I had some initial issues with broken parts on my sons quad that I bought at Raceway, but John took care of it for me. Its refreshing to see that Raceway is willing to help you out and you didnt even buy from him.
John, although we had a tough time getting my stuff straightened out, I think that you are at the top when it comes to dealers helping out the consumer AFTER the sale. Thanks again for the help you gave me.
I will be contacting you this summer for a 50cc for my 5 yr old girl. Keep up the great work! We need dealers like you.

jcotti, I agree. It's has been very kind of John @ raceway to help me out with the our ATV issue, when we didn't even purchase from him.
John, just wanted to let you know that I just went and picked up our NEW replacement 50. My son hasn't had a chance to ride yet, but we'll see what happens this evening with it.
Again, thanks so much for your help.
Best of luck to you,
Mark
