A/Cat 90-Who Built It?
What does BDC stand for? I hope this doesn't make me sound dumb.
also, I would love to throw that choke away but that would leave a huge hole in the carb.--not really knowing what to use to cover the hole!

It just stands for bottom dead center. or laymans terms rotate the piston downward to open the ports up.
If your choke is not cable operated then it is electric. Unplug it. maybe it will not choke all of the time.
