A/Cat 90-Who Built It?
#1
Hi--So does anybody know who built my kids 90cc Arctic Cat? The dealer said it comes in a little Jap.box. I seem to have a "no start" situation. I have fuel--spark and 90 pounds comp. and it will not fire. I would like to contact someone who could tell me if 90lbs. is enough.
If anyone wants to talk.........I'm listening!!
Thanks.

Did you see the adly review in dirt wheels. They gave it a pretty good review.
Since were on the subject of who makes what, the Unison and Kolpin are made by the same company right. The name of the company is Armstrong Industry Corporation, I can't find anything on the net about them. I also was told by a guy that works for Unison and swore up and down that Unison made these machines. Just curious if someone could shed some light on the subject.

90 lbs. is plenty. Do a carb clean including removing/cleaning the pilot jet. Replace the plug. Service the air filter correctly.
With new good gas this unit should fire right up.
Also consider getting rid of the fuel filter and replace with a diffferent grade fuel filter from the auto/motorcycle parts house they deteriorate and send plastic to the carb.
A RH or LH crank seal could also be blown out or leaking by.
Is this a new or used unit?
All of the above still applies.

So here is what I've done on my girls A/C 90 2-stroke-------new gas....new NGK plug...clean air filter...clean carb(2 times)...check comp...inspect plug boot.
The atv has spark, comp, and fuel----no fire as it cranks!
What I think is that the electric choke may be shot? Seems that there is alot of fuel that blows out if I crank the atv with no plug in it. Seem to be choking all the time?
Thanks.
Gerald.
The atv is a 2002. Loads of fun when it runs!

You have to much fuel in the cases, pull the plug and aireate them with the piston at BDC, by using an air nozzle from a compressor or just by kicking it over a multitude of times will help clear this up. Your new spark plug could very easily already be wet fouled. Always turn the gas off when not in use.
