Default Suzuki lt50 question

That's what happened to me. Blown crank seal on the trans side. You have to split the cases to get to it. If you are doing it yourself, get a Suzuki Service Manual, you'll need it.

Thanks for the reply. Thought it might be that, but wasn't sure. So we drained the tran and ran it, the smoke disappeared. Sounds like you were right on. Yikes!! Sounds like a pain in the rear repair job !!!!

We were planning on buying another anyway. ETON 50 ... any comments from anyone on those ??

Hello,

Good info here - thanks.

I've picked up a LTA50 for my son and it began smoking more than usual after about the third time using.

Would you guys mind taking a look at this video and seeing if it looks like excessive smoke to you? I'm afraid it's the seal mentioned earlier in the thread.

hi steve did you get anywhere?
looks to me like spent two stroke oil as its blue,you find when it burns engine oil its white and smells nasty,is the quad still running autolube or premix?
