lt-80 uni filter questions

Go foor it. If you do remove the air box then find a radiator hose tha you can use to move the filter up higher with. Also you can make a deflector shields to keep mud and water away from the filter.

The uni filter is a OK idea, but what's to gain by removing the airbox?
I've not ever seen a filter just stuck on the front of the stock carb.
