Malossi parts

Jack,
If you only knew how crude our 70 looked on the inside for the Maryland race... After splitting a piston on Saturday and piecing a top end together for the LCQ I was wondering if he'd even qualify. Well he took the LCQ by almost 1/2 lap over the others and ran 5th on Sunday. Ya don't ask why on some things, just take them for what they are.

Great!
Rhett is a good kid. I gave him a high five before a moto. He just smiled.I like that, think it's cool.
Do you think a harmonic distortion is busting the pistons??
It's great to talk with all you. Not many want to sit and talk mini's.

I'm at my wits end, two pistons back to back with two different cylinders and heads. The first cracked worse than the second but both originated in the exact place. I'm swapping brands of pistons to see if it's a bad lot. Got to start somewhere.

I find a racing clutch (delta clutch) and a racing vario (multivar) from Malossi for an E-ton viper RXL 90. Do you know if this parts could fit on a Predator 90 ? I try the engine are similar except the cylinder. Is it right ?

Tonnere Once again the mallossi stuff is not always the best and is usually over priced and your stock rear clutch can be modified to work as well for about $10-20 or less and a new perf variator should be $80-$100 or you can spend $400 on mallossi clutching but to answer your question the eton/predator and most cvt taiwanese/chinese minis have same clutching. Many people on here can help you easily with clutch setup and it'll cost very little. heck I've got everything you'd need used for a heck of a lot less $$ than the mallossi stuff costs and you could buy 4 new tires and alum rims for a quad with the difference in money. Just my opinion here but dont get ripped off with scooter parts that wont serve you well. FastestDad

Sure you are right but your price are very different than mine for the Malossi parts. I live near Italy and i think I have less custom charges than you. You can help me even so. Mail me and say me the price you could have for this parts. Thanks

Again, I agree with Fastestdad. Some of the Malossi stuff is worth it like springs and belts but I stop there. Do your homework as there are many dealers and brands on the market. Heck, call them up and ask their opinions on what you need. Most of us will help you get where you want to be on the cheap, meaning we're not going to sell you a bill of goods and get you to buy $1000 worth of parts that you could get the same result for $200. Most would rather you come back satisfied rather than feeling like you were taken advantage of.
Just my .02 but search the net for dealers and see what they have to offer.

Tonnerre if you dont need a new cylinder you could have yours ported and with corrected ports and port timing your stock cylinder can be made to run better than any new cylinder right out of the box.If you get a new cylinder its going to need work to make it really fast so you might as well use the cylinder you have now unless its not useable. And about the mallossi stuff I was giving you the highest retail prices some charge over here. A new 52mm cylinder with new piston is about $150 and over here porting costs between $125 and $250 i'm sure you could find a good 2 stroke guy in Italy that can do a decent port job for you if you use a mallossi cyl. but if he's a scooter/moped guy tell him you need lowend power not the topend power they port scooters for. If you use a mallossi cylinder just dont get the Oring head they sell they usually blow out the Oring/Head gasket use a different head and the mallossi cylinder.
