Need help ..Kazuma 110 wont idle
#1
I bought a 110 Kazuma last June and have not been able to get it to idle, it does not matter if the carb screws are in or out, it runs the same and wont idle... I do not get any help from the dealer. carb has been cleaned, any thing else to look for? not that it matters, but what are the carb settings? I can get it to idle by holding the throttle.

Welcome to the forum bugwire, I would start by setting the air screw to 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 turns out from screwed all the way in. If you can hold a idle with the throttle you should be able to adjust the idle screwto make it idle. The other thing i would do if you havnt already is replace the chinese spark plug with a ngk.

I cant find anyone that can cross the spark plug to any other brand, its a LGA7TC..any idea what the nkg # and gap is. Tried the carb screws again and it makes no differance. THANKS

I too have a Kazuma 110 that will not Idle ... I have taken all apart and cleaned the carb and reassembled it and it will still not idle . I can get ot to idle with the choke in the ON position but as soon as turn the choke off it will die ... The boy can ride it as long as he keeps giving it gas but that is not very safe .. I have adjusted the idle but to no luck .. Help please ..

if it idles while the choke on but does not idle with the choke off, that nornally indcates a air leak , maybe a bad o ring between the carb and intake maniford or a bad gasket between the intake maniford and cylinder, one way to find it is while idling take some starter fluid and spray it around the carb and maniford area, if the engine speeds up or dies then you found the leak.
