Where is the latch to lift up the seat on the sportsman 90 05. I dont have my manual with me. Also I unscrewed the throttle limiter and took out that piece under the 2 screws located on the CDI box. Is there any other limiters.

Okay. I just pulled up the manual on line, and it said that the latch is on the left side. I just cant find nothing. Whats the deal. I know its there. The dealer today popped it open and showed me where the oil was. So I know it works.

The other rev limiter is built inside of the CDI box. You will have to replace the box to fix that. Then, it will be jetted a little lean on bottom. The external gearing is also a way of building in a speed restriction.
We did notice a increase of power after a simple CDI box change out. The quad also runs out better.
Look under the LH Fender assy. to the middle of the seat area. It is kind of a brass looking lever.

Thanks.

Found it. Not anything like the manual said. Thank goodness for these forums.
