Has anyone installed lights on there sportsman 90. I'm not looking for useability. More just for show. There is already a place set up for them. Also I cant here the fan running on this unit. Nor can I find it anywhere on the machine. Where is it? And is there a way to keep it on after you turn off the machine. It would be good to keep cooling down the engine after its turned off. It was 96 degrees the last time they rode it. thanks

I've added lights to my daughters 2003 Sportsman 90 here is a previous post that has links to some pictures.. I just purchased a LED light bar with 6 LED's from Bass Pro shops for about $6.00 that I'm going to install under the existing break light for a parking light thats on when I toggle the headlight on.. hope this helps

my 2003 Sportsman 90 is air cooled, no fan so I'm not going to be able to help you there..

 

The fan should be near the drivers right foot. Its a squirel cage type run off the crankshaft. We run our little Scrambers in the heat fo Georgia Summers and have never had a problem with heat after shut down on one fo these... I'm sure that our Scrambler 70 Production Racer gets a lot hotter than yours.

Your 03 sportsman is fan cooled just like my 05. You just cant hear it running. Thats why I'm having prob finding it.

 

You can hear it run alright... it's driven off the crankshaft! It is powered by the motor. It's not an electric fan.

Warn has some lights they sell. We know them mostly for their winches, but it looks like they sell some great lights that would fit the hole where the fake lights are in the grill of our Sportsman machines.
