What is it that gets wet?
I am researching kids 80-90cc quads. I am most familiar with 4-strokes.
What is it that gets wet (water over the floorboards) and causes all the problems on the 90cc 2-stroke CVT bikes? Is it something that dries out and is ok later. Does it cause longterm problems?
A salesman told me that for 05 the Polaris (Aeon) Predator/Sportsman 90 has a sealed something and a snorkel that has eliminated some of the problems.
The 4-strokes, the TRX90 and Yamaha Raptor/Grizzly 80 just don't seem to have the suspension and features( e-start, reverse, disc brake) that the E-ton and Polaris have, but I don't want a quad that can't do a 6 inch deep creek crossing either.

There are different things with different models, but basically it's water on the CVT belt. No long term damage, but it sure does make ya mad when your towing it home to clean. Some have holes for air, some simply do not seal well. Most all need air in the clutchs which means water can get in.
I love me 2 strokes, but the Honda is king for water crossings.
