You sure hear alot of different info regarding getting parts. Everything from you can't get parts and some say no problem. So maybe it comes down to how "easy" it is to get parts. I know there is many places on the net that sell parts for these chinese quads.

We've has ours now going on 2 years and so far I haven't had to worry about looking for parts. I must have got lucky and got a good one or something. It must have a couple hundred hrs. on it by now.

Bang for your buck I still say they are good toy for beginners.

Priced out ski trips last month 2 night stay and 2 days skiing with the kids is more than what this little quad cost!

Once the boys are older and if they are into atving we'll look into something else. As for climbing hills with the auto tranny I found you have to have the rev's right up before hitting the hill. If I was to stop half way up then try and go then ya your in trouble. This is where a 4 speed would come in handy.

Yeah Dan I do agree with you on the lack of low end power......but its always been that way for 2 speed auto shifters....no low end in order to have high top end......its all apart of the go-kart rage for more speed........and yes I too would trade my top end for more low end.......but really the new 4-speed Baja shifter is the answer for the same price.....most kids like speed so with only 2 speeds in auto.....hence the problem.....you can't have both in 2 speeds.....and for $800 these Baja's are a steal and I have still not seen any competition for them in this price range new..........and most 90's are not really made for rock hoping and rutt digging really.....these bikes and other 90's are really made for area's you would ride a go-kart.....you know mogul dirt some bumps.....little hills and a few trails that karts would fit......again we are happy with ours.....no busted lights or plastic.......but we do hit the trails pretty hard and have dog it in the snow......my boy weights 100 lb.,......again I weight 200 lbs.,......and he pulls me from a dead stop on a sled........as far as top heavy goes I don't see that to be the case........I fishtail on mine all the time in snow and dirt......you do have to know how to lean into the turns pretty good and I have never lifted any tires and I have a pretty steep rugged backyard that will test any bike ..........Dan I guess I'm a little surprise that before you bought yours you did not notice the ground clearance in the rear on these ?!?.... most stock 90's have very little.......now I get stuck on a log too.....but just lift it over.....as far as your hot pipes go.......something sounds wronge.....dunno......my pipe is only warm there and has never burned me in shorts........oh well good luck and I do believe the 4 speed shifters are the answers in the future......my little pitbike and my old Baja 50cc dirt bike had good low end because of the shifters....my new pitbike will put you on your fanny quick......but it has a clutch too.......shifting can be a hassle too.

If you are looking for a reasonably priced quad, dirt-bike or any thing like that, check out Daymak. The products are very reliable and the workmanship is way better than anything you will find at Crappy Tire.......

If you have any questions, e-mail me at gryphon1@telus.net

I am an exclusive dealer for Daymak

Hope this will help you out.

Hey, gryphon2007, we have a Daymak dealer here in Toronto, but I've been there and their quads don't look so sturdy, but they sure are cheap! ($799 for a four-stroke 70 cc utility quad)

You say they are very reliable, but do you know of any independent reviews, and how about warranty and parts?

www.daymak.com
check it out, they have testimonials and warranty information on their web page.
They also have a large selection on parts.
I live in Alberta, and from time of place order, to arrival at my door, is 7 - 10 days, which is excellent all things considered

i have seen the workmanship of Crappy tire ones, and if you compare the welds of the frames.........other little things too

most of these units come from 5 different factories in China, all buying from one another, so i guess it comes down to preferences. they are a little cheaper, dollar wise, but i have yet to have 1 single complaint on any of the ones i have sold.......50cc right through to 200cc's. Also, Daymak's engines are based on the old Honda 50's, and those things were indestructible.

Their product selection is amazing......

forgot to mention.......

Daymak 50cc, Daughter 3
Daymak 200cc, mine

50cc will move me along at about 45km/h, no problem through tall grass, (made small track at acreage). I weigh approx. 165lbs. with the 2 of us riding it, (200lbs), it does take a bit to get it going, but once moving, it will really fly

have rode:

70cc utility quad, auto
110cc auto, and semi auto
150cc semi auto
200cc full clutch

Tell everyone you know to stay away from these pieces of junk! I am on a mission to let everyone I possibly can know that these bikes arent worth 5 cents! My little guy got 150 K's outta his. I'm outta the 90 day warranty period So all they will offer me is 1/2 price on parts. The bike needs primary & secondary clutches & motor job Which will cost me big time
