Baja 90cc

The fellow I talked to at Canadian tire says he bought the Baja 400 and he says the engine gets so hot you cannot sit on the bike. My wife won a Baja 90 and it will not run properly and Baja will not honour the waarrantee as written in the manual. If I were in the market for aan ATV do not touch a Baja their warrantee is not worth the paper it is written on

On my daughters Baja 90, it will only run with the choke on, even fully warm. It started doing this late last year. Fired it up today for the 1st time and its still the same.
I pulled the carb last year and checked the jets, all looks good, also tried adjusting the carb mixture, but didnt even know which screw it was and neither one seemed to help, any ideas?
Thanks

My wife won a Baja 90 last fall at a fall fair. It wouldn't run properly so we brought it back to the dealer Canadian tire and they told us we were not running the choke properly. There was a misprint in the manual and the operation was opposite to what was printed. The snow can early for us so I parked it in the garage for the winter.
I had a back operation this spring and it was into june before we went to the cottage.
I tried to start the bike again and after several tries got it going but it backfired into the breather. When it got warm it stalled and I couldn't start it again. I brought it to the ATV dealer that does the waranttee work for CT and they told me the engine was seized.
Canadian Tire wouldn't help us because it was off the 90 day warantee and Baja Motor sports said tough luck your waranttee is over.
The ATV has no miles on it so I now have a bunch of parts for sale. The parts and labour for the new engine cost the same as the value of the bike'
My suggestion is stay away.
An employee at CT told me he has the Baja 400 and he says he can't sit on the bike when its warm because the engine heat. He also told me bood luck dealing with Baja they won't return emails or phone calls. This is exactly what I have found. Canadian tire doesn't do warantee work on the bikes in my area

I'm sorry to hear you didn't have much luck with the Baja 90. I'm not doing much better myself but I would be interested in buying a couple of parts from you:
WD90-907 - Stator Mounting Plate
WD90-411 - Stator

Hello I live in Halifax and wondering is there a place other then Canadian Tire that I can get parts for the Baja 90? I just bought one there and they have ordered some parts for me but am checking to see if I can get them cheaper myself. Battery/Plug/Starter/.
How do I log into the toipic, no problem getting into the site just cannot join a topic, just reply to a message.
Thanks

Yes its a Honda copy....not a exact copy but a copy..

Changing parts with a CRF150 is more than likely impossible...different engine altogether..
Transmission could possibly be changed to a 3 or 4 speed but Id think it would take a lot of time to find parts that would fit...
