Works (530~last price I got) is the cheapest option for shocks.

I hadn't though of ice racing but i had been thinking of adult mini racing similar to what some guys are doing with 50cc "pit bikes". i think it would be fun to do flatrack or TT races with "adults" on mini's. Ice racing would really be a hoot though, especially if you limited what you could do to the tires, you might even be able to contain some of the costs that way. Or maybe not.
