I have to agree with the whole online dealers and stores especially if your not willing to spend the time to research the place your buying from whether it be local dealer or online. Buying from a local dealer just gives the person sellig it to you the opportunity to be a good salesman unless you have the money brand name bikes and quads. I have experienced both, I bought a Z400 new and do not regret it I also have a yzf450, but I will not pay the money for a kids polaris or yamaha in at around 3-4 thousand dollars for my six year old or ten year old until they show the need for something at this level. Kazuma 90 mini falcon is what my six year old rides and it's an awesome little quad at just under 800 dollars from racewayatv.com and let me tell you that the customer service they have shown me way surpasses any local dealer. Although I did not buy it and have it the same day I did have it shipped from them in 6 days, I put the wheels on and of course went through a couple of hours changing the oil, loctiting bolts and nuts and sealing all the eletrical for waterproofing with liquid electrical tape.
These quads are really simple machines so no matter who you buy them from your still getting them from the same manufacturer which is somewhere in China, you just have to research the brand your buying from some of the forums and find a good dealer or store that most importantly has good customer service and will honor the warranty from the maker.
Honestly times have changed and today you count so much on buying from a local dealer for buyers protection unless you the money for brand name machines. Whoever you buy from you have to do your homework so you dont get burned, John @ racewayatv.com can answer most any questions about the aftermarket quads both in the parts and sales of them, I speak from experience....
