Kids ATV Will not Start
My sons MXF 110 (Kazuma) will not start. He was driving it and turned it off and after 30 minutes tried to start it and nothing.
1) Turning the key on doesn't power up the system. Almost like the battery is dead. Checked the battery and it has 12 V
2) I think unrelated but the low beams didn't work before the machine stopped working and my sons said the headlights blinked off then back on just before he turned the machine off
3) Starter works because I could jump it directly from the battery and get it to turn over (hotwire). I didn't get the machine to start but didn't try. I just wanted to check the starter
4) I checked the ignition switch with my power meter and it works as per the wiring diagram.
5) I don't think it is the kill switch because if my memory serves me correctly the starter will turn but the engine will not start if the kill switch is off
6) Gear indicator for "N" and "R" don't light up.
I'm thinking is is the Voltage regulator or the CDI. Any thoughts?

Mark,
I was thinking the same thing but couldn't find a fuse on the wiring diagram during my inital troubleshooting. Based on your suggestion I looked again at the wiring diagram and found a fuse located near the battery. I'll check on the ATV in the next day or so (it is not at my house) and report back.
Tx
