Default Polaris 90 low oil light problem

Took the quad in on Friday(sp90) . They said that they might have it for around 10 days if they need to order a new part. For once it actually acted up while the mech was looking at it. So he's seen the promblem first hand. I'll let you know what they say.
Dadsbrute, have you taken yours in yet. If so what did they say.

No, I have not taken mine in yet. I would be very interested in learning what they did to fix yours.

Thanks.

Default Polaris 90 low oil light problem

Just picked mine up from the dealer, and as always they made you feel like an idiot. They said that the oil light was blinking because it didn't have enough oil in the reservoir. Well I'm only on my second tank of gas and the oil was at 3/4 full when I took it up there. They said they added more oil and you can tell that they did. They said that adding oil wasn't a warranty issue. But they wouldn't charge me anything for it. Thus the part about making you feel like an idiot. I think that they should have lowered the sensor on it. It shouldn't be going off at 3/4 full. Anyway I check the oil level alot, so the light really doesn't do me alot of good. They did fix the horn though. It was a screw that needed to be adjusted in the switch. Now it works with just the key turned on and the engine not running. Oh well just glad to have it back. And it not take 10 days.
