I just bought a used lt 50 for my sons. The only thing I noticed is that the carb leaks gas from the little tube attached to it when it idles. Is this normal? Is it just unburned gas leaking out of the bowl? I haven't owned a 2 stroke in a long time so any info. would be appreciated.

 

any gas in the bowl is unburned. it sounds like the float level is too high. or a bad needle and seat

 

is the petcock sitting on PRI? Mine sometimes leaks if I forget to turn it back to on.i
