I sit on here and read bad and good things about all the ATV's out there. Im thinking about buying the SFX 110 for my 8 year old for his first bike. There is so many different options out there. You can get an 80 thats the same body size as the 110 and the only difference is the Auto vs. Semi auto and reverse. Their the same price. WTF. I really need some input.

The 110cc is a much better unit besides being a bigger bike at 109cc there is also a rfx which is a couple of cc bigger plus a few minor upgrades but its about 200 to 300 $$ more. The sfx 110 is by far my favorite machine at the low end. If you are referring to the vx 80 its not proven yet in the states I would wait some time fot hat one. The Best seller I see is the 110 and the unit preforms admerably especially at the price its at I believe sub $1000. I have a 110xx for my 11 year old and he loves it. With a friend of mine who weighs 140 lbs we gpsed it at 46 mph but I keep it boeverned down. It has been a rock solid machine and its almost a year old.

I have a Kazuma/Redcat 110 and a Yamoto 110. They both have been great for about a year now. I would highly rec getting name brand tires and maybe a taller size. My sons Yamoto came with a size od 18x9.5x8 on back and 19x7x8 on front. First gear was pretty much useless and with a top speed of 23mph wound out. The tires are very hard and that made for a rough ride because the suspension is also stiff. Now I put on a name brand tire with a much softer compound and it rides like night and day. I put on 20x9x8 on back and 20x7x8 on front. He can now use first gear and the top speed is in the mid 30's. It made a huge difference. A set of tires cost me $129.00. I feel much better with him riding now. If you know how to wrench a little and your not going to be raceing or jumping then it is perfect and they will hold up. They just need more maintenance than the big 4.

I think I will order the VX 110. Its basically the same thing as the SFX except its a bit bigger at 5" wider and 5" longer and looks better. The bikes are at www.hildcycles.com if you could take a look and let me know what you think. I reason I chose them is that their only 1 1/2 hours from home if I have any problems. Let me know.
