I just assumed that this was a dry clutch system. If it is a wet clutch, then yes you will want to use a non-detergent motorcycle grade oil.

 

If you dot the 14mm bolt back in and no leaks, then no problem. The oil that came out is only engine oil, so check the sight glass on the right side of the engine, if it's low the feel free to add. But if it's where it's supposed to be, don't worry about it.

As for the oil in the stator, my friend did the same thing.. No books for these things make them confusing. If it's just a little it probably won't hurt anything, but if you want to be safe, remove the 2 covers on the left side of the engine. 1 cover is for the chain and sprocket, the second actually holds the stator. It's just a couple 8mm bolts, and a slight tap and it comes right off. Use some alchohal base electronic or carberator cleanor after you wipe everything with a rag. Should be good then.

I have heared of people beding the stops to get more turning radius, but if it's a youngster riding it then you may not want to cut them off. If a grown up is going to ride it, then shouldn't be a problem with just hacking them completly off..

Yes, usually there are some other minor things that you need to do to them, to get them running. My advice is once you get the chain set to the correct tension, tightem the large locking bolts (16 or 18mm) really good. And tighten the sprocket bolts, mine always came lose, so I welded them so they can't ever loosen again.. haaha.. Don't forget some good chain lube..

As for the carburator, if some sealer wont hold it back and you have to replace the carb, I would get an aftermarket carberator, for the Honda Trail mini, or CRF 50.. They are only a little more than Kazuma replacement and you shouldn't have to mess with it. The chinese carbs and chokes are very finiky..

As for toe in toe out. just use a measuring tape and do a quick wheel alignment.. Good start would be to set the front (center to center of the tires) and set the back side to the same. That will center the tires.. you can adjust for your prefference from there..

This pretty much applies to all the chinese atv's.

 

Not all Chinese quads. I had to tighten the handle bars, charge the battery, air the tires up, align the front end, put oil and gas in and go.

 

And what Chinese atv are you talking about? I guess those would be some minor details also.

 

Mostly refering to the 2-strokes. But I never really had any electrical problems. Few loose bolts after extended use.
