Default Wanting to die after you open the throttle

The bike had this problem before I put a new topend on it. I thought that the low compression was causing my problems. When I was breaking the after my warm up period. My son started to ride the bike breaking the new top end. It started to die like before. I took off the carb. and cleaned it. Put it back on. Still has the problem. change spark plug. The bike want to die when you open the throttle at once but if let off it will not die. Then I check the ohms on the ignition coil is 11.5 k a little low. Then check stator coil. It read 155 ohns Both are out of spect. I'm I looking in the right area or is it fuel or a ground problem. Has cleaned air filter and new fresh gas. The bike is 10 years.

I wouldn't rule out a bad carb, but it sounds like your doing good.
Yes the motor needs to be grounded. The ground usually goes on the top right fan cover bolt.
Electrics are the next step. Just how far out of range are they?
This couldn't be the stock plug cap causing a problem could it?

The ignition coil was out by 500 ohms and the stator coil was out by 21 ohms.

Like LT80 said, plugged main jet or lean for what ever reason. Pull the choke on a bit. Did it stop doing it? If so, read the former.

After a day of playing with it. I'm more lost than I was before I started today. It's like its after it heat heats up. I have the throttle govern to 3/4 throttle for back-in. 45lt80

Is cdi and the ignition coil together??? If the ignition coil ,cdi and stator breaks down can will it start right up. I cleaned the ground wires, the on/off switch on the bar and kill pull cord ground I cleaned the carb. again. I'ts like its run out of fuel or spark. But it start up right after it dies. I'm think about changing out the coil anf stator. I went back two years looking for ideals on what it is. My hair is getting thin Jack, Can we buy pipes through Power pro's. or through the suppliers. And were can I get the spark plug b8hix and 300ex handle bars. All I can find Hi or low atv bend bars. Uptmor250r
