Default New Baja 90 deluxe 4-speed auto shift......

Just saw the new PepBoys ad today and seen the new Baja 90 duluxe has upgraded to bigger tires with a 4-speed auto clutch tranny...sweet !!!.....still really like my Baja 90 and I was wondering how hard it would be to put on a 4-speed tranny on my current Baja....??.....this would certainly take care of the lack of low end torque on these bikes.......like the bigger tires too.......>>>

Default New Baja 90 deluxe 4-speed auto clutch......

I just purchased the 90cc 4 speed auto stick quad from pepboys today. It starts and runs fine so far, not a lot of bottum end torque but seems pretty fast top end. Are there any after market parts availble for for the baja quads yet. Also, I here these are old honda motors that they installed on this. I will post some reviews in a couple of days.

They are not Honda motors. They are Honda clones. It is old Honda motor design that the patents have run out. There is only a few chinese companies that make these motors and distribute them to other companies that make atv, scooters, go carts and motorcycles. Honda parts are interchangeable with most of these motors. If anyone tells you that they are honda motors they are full of crap!

I had a chance to do some rideing, on the Baja 90 cc 4-speed auto clutch., This thing has a lot of power. My cousin has a 90cc Eton. The Eton has a little more bottom end power but not much. When we raced the Eton took the lead for the 1st and second gears after that the baja took the lead and started pulling. For the price, I dont think you can beat the Baja. So far I would highly recomend the baja

Default New Baja 90 deluxe 4-speed auto clutch......

Bozzy I just bought one for my son about 3 weeks Ago It does have a semi auto clutch you do have to shift it there is no clutch to pull. As far as low end power it does lack it that area and as far as hi end power its runs great with me or my son on it. Very impressed with quad so far starts right up every time.

Went to Dumont Dunes over presedint weekend and the Baja 90 had plenty of power driving in the sand dunes with the stock tires. But with paddles and little better low end power would make this quad even better. I am looking end to exhaust and possible other parts that I can find to help with the low end power If any one has any suggestions please post them.

In my opnion by far the Baja 90 is the best quad for the money.

2006 honda trx 90 app. $ 2600.00 plus 800.00 prep and freight fee
2006 yamaha raptor 80 app. $ 2600.00 plus 800.00 prep and freight fee
2006 eton 90 app. $ 1800.00 plus 800.00 prep and freight fee
2006 Baja 90 from pep boys $ 899.00 plus 69.00 prep fee

These are all the prices I found im my area.

Wow thats great.....my 2-speed auto is running fine as well and I have had it for 2 yrs.,.......I like the new camo one too......but it does not have a shifter.....my little 70cc pitbike is a 4-speed man. clutch shifter and it is very torque-kish........must be in the gearing .......you can put on a K&N filter and also change you rear spocket........some have done that on here and it helps.......we have use ours to pull sleds around on the snow......works great. Good luck....post some pics if you can.
