my nephews kfx 80 wont start, the starter just spins but doesnt engage. is this easy to replace or hard to get to? thanks, but my brother is the one who will be wrenching on it!

 

Hello, Mine did the same thing. Turns out that the carb was full of oil from he auto injection. I removed the carb and drained my float. Went back together and worked just fine. You might also what to pull the spark plug and let the starter turn a few times. This will eject all the junk out of the head. Good luck!
