PSBNDAD WHAT MIXTURE ARE YOU RUNNING ON YOUR 70 THAT IS WHAT I WOULD BET ON YOUR RUNNING TO RICH IF IT WAS YOUR JETS IT WOULD NOT RUN RIGHT YOU WOULD BE MISSING IN SPOTS EITHER UP HIGH OR DOWN ON BOTTOM DEPENDING ON WHICH WAY YOU NEED TO ADJUST YOUR JETS. HOPEFULLY NOBODY NEEDS TRANNY GEARS BECAUSE GREG IS OUT OF THEM. IM SWITCHING TO POLARIS STYLE SO THAT MY PARTS CAN BE READAILY AVAILABLE. ALSO IN THE NEW DIRT WHEELS THEY HAVE THE APEX IN IT WHERE IT IS SAID ONCE AGAIN THESE ARE RACE READY.

Thanks for the help . I'm running 40 to 1 in it. What year is your cobra? I heard they are having problems with those this year. Hope you are not having those problems. Thanks again for the help. Is there any other national racing beside atva in the midwest area?

my cobra is a 05 and it runs great and has yet to had a problem knock on wood. I dont know what kind of nationals your looking for but gnc is coming to walnut, IL in july and the dirt track nationals is coming to kincaid IL in June. we will be at both of those. The espn series is also racing MX at kincaid which should be a good showing it is a very fast but safe track not very technical. Those all are good experince for the little ones and the pros make time for them so it really makes their day.

mxdad you still buy from greg? use kasea gears from hetricks ,they might be hardened because there holding up great, also I pulled the flywheel and the magnets were separated from the flywheel, got it just in time, heard a squeal, and i also saw the apex in dirtwheels , I bet greg had those quads ready for the test, not off the floor, and he was still sweating it

kasea90 I was buying from quad central who in turn bought from Greg they have none after seeing where you got kasea gears and had only gone through 2 sets in two years i took your advise and i ordered a set today. Ya i bet Greg was sweating bad i wish they could have used mine for the test. Then all that family values and what a great guy he is I just had to laugh. Thats for sure Greg is out to help everyone until you buy one and have a problem with it.

Wonder why they are having so much problems with these machines? Mine runs funny sometimes. When we first had it my son would ride it for about ten minutes then it would run but not want to go anywhere. So we put a new carb on it and still don't think it runs that great. Looks nice and son rides it good when its runs right it goes pretty good. But hope i don't have problems with it all the time. How much small in size is the cobra that you have? I looked up that website thanks for the heads up on that.

I like the way our MX90 runs. Had a problem with power going flat at WOT but I've got it as good as it's going to get. It may just need a bigger carb. One of you guys recommended a 28mm to me. I'm going to upgrade the shocks first. Idle is still a bit erratic but the boy has learned to catch it before it stumbles and dies. Overall, I'm very happy with the machine. We've been to the track a couple times now; no races yet, just practice time. I'm pretty sure that once we get quality shocks on he will be really able to move. The track we're riding on is designed for MX and is not very quad friendly. The stock suspension is just too stiff for him even with all the preload out.

Yeah found the shocks to tight for my son . he only weights 60 pounds . so we put elkas on it what a huge difference. Hate to sound dumb but what does WOT mean?
