On my 150 I had to tip the carb up to slide on the air cleaner this pulled the carb crooked on the intake rubber hookup. Found this out by jumping the ignition switch and test running with no front fenders on and air cleaner off. It ran good put the air cleaner on and it ran like crap so I retighened the clamps with the cleaner in place, the power lose and poor idle went away.

Sir,
Sounds like you have good hours on it. I suggest just taking it to a professional and let them fix it. Once you get past your point of no return, sometimes it is better just to let them have at it. I like to turn the wrenches, but I also know when to give. Anyway, when they come up with a really good repair manual...these things will not be an issue. Good luck. SEADAWG
