Default Mini Carb ??? / Maybe stupid...

06/16/2006

Are 2 stroke and 4 stroke Mini 50-90cc carbs similar??? Could I use a 24mm 2 stroke carb on a 4 stroke engine all else being equal???

Thanks,

Hibrass

I dont think a 2-stroke carb would work, because it is probably made to run gas/oil mixture.

If you need a carb, check with http://www.dratv.com/index.html I bought a 15mm for my chinese 50cc honda knock off motor. Many of the 50's from china come with a 19mm. He has both on his web site. He is great to deal with an answer's e-mail's quickly.

Good luck

I think you can use it.
A carb don't know what motor is used. I highly doubt that a 4 stroke mini carb has an accelerator pump. That's the only difference between a 2 or 4 stroke carb.
