lt50 problems
My sons lt50 starts and idles fine but if it is setting and idleing and you shake side to side a little or pick the rear up it will die. after a few times it becomes hard to start like it is flooding. I can shut the gas off drain the bowl on carb and crank it some and it will fire back up. I have cleaned the carb, tank and intake. I'm kinda thinking it may be the float. If anyone could help I would apperiate it.

Ya know.....mine did the same thing. When the kids were riding it and the let off the gas a bit and cornered hard or had it on a steep hill, it would do the same thing. They learned to feather it out most of the time. I messed with it for a total of about ten hours all together. Then I found out that a new carb was like $75 or $80 and I bought one. I did the same mods( move the needle clip one slot and take out the piggy back jet) and it works fine now. There are only about a dozen parts to the darn thing but....I kept the old one for parts but when I put it back on there is no confusing the two.
