Default Dad needs a quad

I am looking to get myself a utility quad. I have been looking at the big 5 and am amazed at how much they cost. I haven't spent much time looking at Chinese adult quads. I'll take any and all advice. Here is my basic criteria. It will be for pleasure riding not work.

250cc(Minimun)
4x4 (If possible)
semi auto or CVT

Thanks!!

What is your budget? Arctic Cat has a 250 Ute no 4x4 though....wasn't too bad on price if I remember correctly.

If it is for pleasure and not work why not check out the Kymco Mongoose 250? Also available as a Artic Cat DVX250. I think it is the same as the AC 250Ute.

Buy a used name brand before you buy a Chinese. You can find a nice used one for about 2500.

Listen to 2manytoys...he is right. So far, the quality / support is not totally there yet. If you do buy one, look at Raceway and pay the extra. Your support and headaches down the line will be less. SEADAWG

Mywifesquad,
Hey, keep us posted on that quad. I'm real interested to see if they can take a beating or are they good yard quads or junk. Since I can't get to one, you got to be the man! Keep us posted...also, ckeck out the craftsmanship while putting it together. SEADAWG

Not a problem SEADAWG!! Im really interested in this one myself. As far as Im concerned it is the only full sized quad that Jetmoto makes so far. I hope its built accordingly.

Im sorry for not respondiong to this sooner but Ive had internet problems at work and at home Ive been busy with my tow vehicle. I will start a post on the Jetmot Utility Quad tonite and get a picture of it with my father in law on it in my pics tonite too. This is a full sized quad and even at 6'4" I felt comfortable on it. More details later. I need to get some work done.
