I assume it is a 2006. Bought it this year. From what I can see there appears to be a spring clip holding the cup for the ball in the A-arm. Did not take a lot of time with it last night when it occured. Will take a more detailed look at it today.
If I can find time I will give the Racyway guys a call. Most of my days are spent on the phone (on a conference call now) and it is much easier for me to trade emails.
Thanks
Mike

The ball came out of the socket. He has been greasing it fairly frequently. He burned up bearings (ordered the same bearings you did I found in another of your threads) and brakes (made them from a car pad that was close working fine) a few months back and has been much better caring for it. Per your advise (Thanks!) I made him pay for all the parts which he did not care for. We took a few pics last night. I will try to get my wife to send me one that I can attach or will get that done tonight if more detail is needed. Good news is he shutdown right away and does not look like he did any further damage.
Thanks
Mike

Thats pretty scary. I had heard of a few problems with ball joints on some of the earlier models but I thought it was taken care of. I hope he wasnt hurt as it came apart. If you can get some pics up I would like to see the them. You can email john at Raceway at jvvvvvv@aol.com. He is usually right on top of that stuff.

I don't seem to be able to attach the picture to this thread. Do I have to setup a page and put the pic there with a link here or is there a way to paste the picture in here. Sorry for the trouble.
Thanks

Sir,
Keep us posted on this model and these Jetmotto's. They have been hailed as great quality ...the next step up from the previous (various brands) Chinese quads. It seems these can't take the punishment. I spent 2/3 hours on a TRX 90 playing...I'm 6'2", 238lbs and it had no issues period. Seems like the Chinese can't even make a 250 that can handle me. I wonder who are the engineers for these things or if they get feedback. Or do they care? SEADAWG
