Polaris Predator 90 for a 7 year old??
#1
Would a Polaris Predator 90 be too large a bike for my just-turning 7 year old?
It is a couple inches higher in seat height than the SUNL Minis I have been looking at, and 100 lbs heavier.....he seems to JUST fit the SUNL sized bike right now.....
Would the Predator be too large?
Thanks in advance...

How large is your son? Can he operate the controls? Does he have any riding experience? It can work if he's large enough, coordinating, and the throttle limiter is way down. My little guy turned 7 in May and rides the heck out of a trx 90 (pics on my gallery page.) He has been riding forever though - power wheels at 18 months and with me on my quad before moving him up.
I talk to him about safety and closely closely closely supervise too though.

He's just under 4 feet tall and can work controls etc just fine on the smaller SUNL mini ATVs......the 110 is the same as the 50 in those models....I had him try out a Baja 50 and it is the same dimensions as the SUNL minis.....
So, I guess the real question is how much larger is the Polaris versus the SUNL mini?
Are the controls on the Predator "kid sized"?
I was trying to stay with a 4 stroke but .....

Not sure where you are located, but by me there seems to be a Polaris dealer in every little town.
Best to take him there to size him up. Under 4 ft might be a bit too small for the Pred 90. Seems the new
Outlaw 90 that is replacing it is going to be even bigger.
