New 50 cc ATV bogging????

Default New 50 cc ATV bogging????

What would cause this to happen,its brand new, it will bog until the rpms get high then it takes off as normal but if i accelerate to quickly it bogs down. airscrew? faulty carb?

Default New 50 cc ATV bogging????

Which atv do you have? You very well could have to rejet or adjust the carb, but there could be other issues as well. Try running it with the airbox lid off if it has one, and see if there are any changes in how it runs. It is just a 50, some makes are powerhouses stock and some aren't.

its a giovanni brand new,but the thing is i had one prior to that and it worked just great,tons of power,it has an aftermarket air filter on it now,but it came stock like that as did the other one,anymore suggestions?? we are at sea level so theres no need to rejet.Thanks

Check the valves, if its a Honda clone they should be .004
