Tranny gone?

So me and the wife head out to St Joe park today, and we are riding for maybe a total of 5-10 mins. We head over to this hill that we wanted to go up last time I was there. So the 250 makes it up no problem. The 150 is just stuck at the bottom of the hill making this screeching noise. So we back it down (all of 5 feet up the hill) and try again. Same problem. So I try riding it around on the flat land and it barely goes with the motor going almost full rev. But here is the weird thing, it still has reverse (thats how I drove it back to the trailer). What do you guys think? The bike has maybe 51 miles on it, its 2 months old and I am baffled. Luckily its still under warenty from my local ETON dealer, so I will be dropping it off monday. I just would like to know whats up, and if its going to be covered under warenty?

If it goes in reverse, the belt and CVT is prolly OK.
I'm thinking internal gears also.

Belt was good, gears were good, crack in tranny case was bad. Crack was under the CVT area and had oil soaked the belt. They keep asking me how I did it, and I keep telling them, it has 50 miles on it, How could I do anything??? Oh well, its under warenty, just waiting for them to get the parts in, and get it fixed..

New tranny is in. Went out to a freinds house to do like a pre-trip inspection for my wifes Birthday ride. Tranny did the same exact thing AGAIN!!!! Taking it to the dealer in the morning. Thankfully this thing is still under warenty cause this is getting old VERY quickly... Was suppose to be a 2 day ride. Luckily we did a check out befor we went. Would have sucked if we had gotten there just to turn around and come back..

Dealer still has quad. They replaces both seals on the input shaft (again), and then replaced the belt (again). And it was still leaking. So they did some investigations into the machine some, looking for a crack in the case, bad input shaft bearing, something. Turns out the Neutral Safety switch/reverse sentinal is bad on its internal seals and needs to be replaced. Of course the also just replaced this last time I had it into the shop. Thank god for warentys. I just hope I can extend it since the season is ending soon, and I havent ridden it much.
