To get an educated SUGGESTION, you really need to give out more info. Height, weight, where you will use the machine, how you wish to use it, what kind of quads your buddies ride, etc.

By motorsports park, do you mean trails? Do your friends ride sport quads or utes? I don't know what the price of that model is. Baja seems to be OK, you really need to go through the atv before you ride it and make sure everything is tight and adjusted. Unless you have a ton of mechanical experience/ability, you may be better looking for some thing like a Honda 250EX or Suzuki Z250. Both are low maintenance, basically lube them and change the fluids every so often, put gas in and ride. If you ever have mechanical problems outside your abilities, there is dealer and shop support for these models. Either way, get out there and have some fun!

For around that price range I would go with a Jetmoto from raceway.

You can get a used one for around 2,000. The Jetmotos are also a good alternative.

You can click the Raceway ad to see the Jetmoto's. I don't know if they have a dealer in FL. Thier website doesn't seem to have a dealer locater either.
