where can i get a push pull kill switch
#1
I have been looking all over for a push / pull type killswitch to mount on the handlebars of a mini quad so the rider can shut the quad off more easily in a panic situation. Can't find one, and would like it to be realtively inexpensive. I don't want one wher they have to figure out which way to push it, or hold it down like on race bikes. ANyone know where i can get one? checked ebay also.

retrorocker,
Does it have to be a push pull type how about this Deluxe Toggle Type Kill Switch it is cheap and it looks like the switch will mount to a one inch frame or handlebar.

The toggle switch might work, but would like something better if possible. The handlebars on this quad are less than 7/8 inch so that is a consideration also. I would like to be able to tell the kid "hit the big red button if anything goes wrong". Probably stems from my childhood when the throttle on my dirtbike stuck wide open going downhill, while i was trying to decide if i could take my hands off the brake, which way was off on the killswitch, and weather going off that cliff was going to hurt. plus i was a little older than 5 years.

retrorocker,
I'm also having a hard time finding a push pull switch but how about this Handlebar On/Off Switch (toggle) it is red.

smb, that one might work. It is for larger handlebars but i could probably make a shim or something to go between the bars and the kill switch. With that one, even though it is not a "punch the button down", at least if they are trying to hit it in a panic, it will likely kill the engine.
